The Story of Luis Eduardo Montoya: At his coffee farm, Las Brisas, Farmer Luis Eduardo Montoya has been processing coffee while simultaneously practicing water conservation and biodiversity preservation for over four decades. The family's commitment to environmentally-friendly coffee growing techniques has been passed down from his parents and continues to this day.

What is Chiroso?

Chiroso, a traditional variety that grows exclusively in the Urao district of Antioquia, where the farm is situated, is known for its juicy sourness and firm sweetness, a direct result of its 1800m altitude. Recently, this coffee was recognized as one of the top 25 Colombian coffees in the prestigious 2023 National Quality Contest, Colombia Land of Diversity.
